In this short ( pages) book Adler investigates what it says in the title: Truth in Religion. The sub-title is "the plurality of religions and the unity of truth".

Adler brings some elemental logic to the by: 6. BOOK 1 deals with New Age movements, and major Christian sects, such as Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Christian Scientists. Book 3 examines Catholicism, Uni-tarianism, and Atheism, and then finishes with presenting a more plausi-ble conception of God than the version offered by Christianity.4/5(1).

This is a well-written book that purports to tell the truth about religion. The author focuses on a couple of basic arguments then sets out to explain why they result in the truth about religion.

I didn't agree with the author on many of his points, but I enjoyed reading the book/5. With about as many religions as there are languages, Dick Johnson’s THE UNSPOKEN TRUTH ABOUT RELIGION takes a hard look at what part faith in the concept plays in human lives and civilization.
